Painting with Alcohol Ink - Led by Sheila Weinstock

  • Highlands VFW Post 6902 331 Bay Avenue Highlands, NJ, 07732 United States (map)

Beautiful, vibrant, unique and with colors that don’t stop - alcohol ink is grabbing the attention of artists and hobbyist alike. The beauty of painting with alcohol ink is that it requires minimal supplies and is incredibly versatile. All you need is 1) a set of alcohol ink, 2) something to paint on and 3) your hands!

That’s more than enough to get started in the wonderful world of alcohol ink art. Join Sheila Weinstock to learn how these inks can add a brand new addition to your art repertoire.

All supplies will be provided! We will have a large selection of inks to play with and an assortment of substrates to work on. You bring your hands (and a painting outfit or big apron), and we will take care of the rest.

We will have examples of paintings, resin art, stamps, fabric dying, jewelry, tumbler painting, and non-porous surfaces like glass, stone, leather, ceramics, and even polymer clay!

You’ll leave this workshop with your own first piece of alcohol ink art.

Thursday, March 5th, at the VFW community room, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Drinks for purchase at the VFW. Feel free to bring food/snacks.
