The Highlands Borough Arts Council Presents: Poetry Out Loud at Et Al

Join us on Wednesday, May 20th at 7pm for an evening of creativity, expression, and community at our Poetry Open Mic Night .

Attendees are invited to share their own original work or read poems that inspire them. In honor of the nation’s upcoming 250th celebration, poetry with a patriotic theme is encouraged—but not required.

We’re also excited to welcome the Henry Hudson Regional High School poetry team, who will be performing and sharing their voices. Aspiring poets from neighboring districts are welcome!

Whether you come to read or simply listen, it’s a chance to connect through the power of poetry.

Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering free educational materials and a dynamic recitation competition for high school students across the country.
